Members of the performance and compliance system met on Monday, February 17, 2024, in the conference room of the John F. Kennedy administrative building to discuss how the financial system and employees’ performance index including monitoring and evaluation at the medical centre.
Special guests from the Ministry of State to JFK were Madam Jamaima Kollie Harris, Senior Program Officer and Mrs Nicole Beatrice Weeks Harijgens, Senior Policy Coordinator, who solicited resourceful information such as confidentiality of patients’ information and suggestions for improvement of the system at JFKMC.
In November 2024, the Performance Management and Compliance System was set up by the government of Liberia, GOL, for check and balance in all government sectors.
Those trained in a three-day workshop from JFKMC are Mr Gabriel Paye Tarty, Compliance and Risks Management Director, Mr Telewoda Kennedy, Procurement Director, Milton B.M. Varmah and Mr J. Gonda Today, former CFO.
However, Mr Joseph B. Massah, the newly appointed CFO, replaced Mr Tozay during yesterday’s meeting based on administrative reasons.
During the meeting, several compliance management strategies were requested by the two officials from the Ministry of State.
Meanwhile, JFK officials were informed to attach a coding number system to each cashier or cash collection centre including a measure termed as ‘SDC-2 case for financial transportation and transparency and accountability.
