Monrovia – A Team of Urologists, sponsored by John F. Kennedy Medical Center and collaborated by Phebe Hospital and the Royal College of Edinburgh have conducted a series of Uro Surgery at the Phebe Hospital, Gbarnga Bong County.

According to Dr Ayun Cassell, the surgery that costs almost 2000 United States dollars was done absolutely free of charge by a team of expert Urologists from JFKMC.

The intriguing aspect of the three-day outreach was its perfect outcomes with absolutely no negative indicator.
That is low pain and no scar on the body after the surgeries had been done.

The team warmly thanked Dr. Birch’s administration for the level of support it continues to render to physicians and Liberian citizens in that part of the country.
”The process started with careful vetting and selection of patients who qualified for the Uro surgery.

However, local staff at the Phebe Hospital in Bong were also included to take part in the outreach program.

One of the most exceptional surgeries was performed on a teenage boy during the outreach, Dr Cassell told medical professionals today in the Grand Rounds Meeting.

Meanwhile, Dr. Linda A. Birch, CEO of the John F. Kennedy Medical Center has promised to continue to support seminal outreach initiatives.
