HIV patients enrolled in the IDC program are considered to be on gratis service. Their gratis slips are stamped and receipts of services rendered them for drugs and other services awarded them by the JFKMC (Memorial Hospital) is submitted directly to the Fiscal Department.
The second category of HIV patients are those who are not enrolled in the IDC program. These are patients who visit the JFK Medical Center and are newly diagnose or receiving treatment from other facilities. Patients in this category go through the DSS to receive treatment.
